Conditions
These are the conditions of Uploading files to the web site, of the Isle of Axholme Family History Society, later referred to as the "society". the Internet address for the Isle of Axholme Family History Society is http://www.axholme-fhs.org.uk later referred to as the "Web Site".
Our Services are available only to individuals and not to any business entities for advertisement.
1. All files that are uploaded will be made available for anyone to download. If you can't make your mind up whether or not a file should be uploaded to the Web Site and made available to others, "DON'T UPLOAD IT".
2. The Society will not be held responsible for any file that has been uploaded that does not contain the exact material advertised. We will do our best to screen the content of a file, and if we think that there is misleading information we will not make this file available.
3. All photos that are uploaded to the Web Site will be viewed and assessed. The name and address of the uploader will be logged for future reference in case anyone comes forward to identify the photo as someone else, or in case another person would like to contact the person that uploaded it.
4. Any file uploaded to the Web Site will become property of the society, and they may use it in future projects.
5. No file that has been uploaded to the Web Site will be transferred, loaned, sold or given to any third party.
6. The society will not be held responsable for any file that has been downloaded from the Web Site and used on another Web Site, unless permission from the society and the original file uploader have given their consent.
7. All files that are uploaded to the web site will be accompanied by the senders name / contact details and a discription of the content of the file that they have uploaded.
8. All photos will be watermarked with the society's name/logo before they are made available for viewing.
